Welcome to my piano studio, located in the downstairs apartment of my home in Belmont, MA . I offer piano lessons to beginner through advanced students in private and group instruction. I teach teens, adults, and children as young as four years of age. My extensive teaching experience includes over 30 years of private piano teaching, a decade of classroom general music (focusing on Eurhythmics), Mommy and Me classes, 20 years as an artistic director of a summer music camp and 10 years of group piano lessons. I have also performed locally, and in Russia and Japan.
I have raised two musical children and I study a number of mind-body methods to enhance the quality of personal and work life, improve physical well-being, and become expert at helping myself and others overcome performance anxiety.
A student in one of my piano classes at the Belmont senior center told me, “You make each of us feel valued.” I do value my students – enormously. I have a great deal to give and I have a great deal to learn from each of you.
